The Captain of Allerton Park 2014 (Mr John Taylor) has decided that his Charity Bunker will support STICK 'N' STEP FOUNDATION for the duration of his captaincy.

STICK 'N' STEP is a charity set up a number of years ago by parent's of children with Cerebral Palsy. It is a charity funded entirely by donations and receives no government or N.H.S support.

The charity is based in Wallasey & works on the principles of conductive education, a system devised by Andras Peto a Hungarian neurologist.

Conductive education is based on the theory that the central nervous system in children with motor disabilities has the capacity to form new neural pathways with repeated tasks and movement on a daily basis which helps children in nearly all cases to become more independent.

If your ball goes into any of the four bunkers surrounding the 8th Green please could you donate 50p to this charity.

You can do this by passing it over to Karen @ the butty van while it is fresh in your mind or you can place it in the tin behind the bar when you return to the clubhouse.

Any monies collected by Karen are passed to me every Saturday morning. I then place it in the tin on my return to the clubhouse.
